We welcome groups of approximately 8 to 30 participants to the Highland Park Lawn Bowling Club from early May to late September during the times that our green is not being used by our members.
These events serve to provide the experience of lawn bowling for a variety of reasons, such as to celebrate significant occasions (birthdays, etc.) to team build within working groups or merely to be introduced to our favourite summer sport.
During such sessions, all the lawn bowling equipment is provided, the elements of lawn bowling are explained and lawn bowling games are played.
No special equipment is required other than flat-soled shoes with a maximum tread of 1/16th of an inch (to prevent damage to the green).
These events last for about 2 hours and the $40 per person charge helps support our not-for-profit club which has been an important, large, green space in Westboro since 1914.
Your help in keeping our Club an important part of Westboro for another 100 years or more will be welcomed greatly.
